Location: Remote (Preference for Texas)
Compensation: $90,000-$105,000 base salary + 10% annual bonus
Travel: Minimal, less than once per quarter
Reports To: HR Director
About the Opportunity:
Our client is a rapidly growing, multi-state organization within the fitness industry seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support a large field-based workforce across multiple states.
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution. After several years of significant growth, the organization is entering a new phase focused on enhancing people processes, developing leaders, strengthening succession planning initiatives, and creating scalable HR programs that support long-term business objectives.
The HRBP will partner closely with Regional Directors and District Managers supporting approximately 95-100 locations and more than 1,000 employees. This role requires someone who can influence leaders remotely, build strong relationships across a distributed workforce, and serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, talent development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR partner for regional operations leadership.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and corrective action processes.
- Support succession planning initiatives and talent review discussions.
- Partner with leaders to identify talent gaps and build development plans.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of leadership training programs.
- Drive adoption of HR best practices across multiple locations and states.
- Consult with leaders on workforce planning, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
- Leverage HR metrics and trends to make recommendations and influence business decisions.
- Support policy interpretation and compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Build trust and credibility with leaders while helping them effectively leverage HR as a strategic business function.
- Partner with Recruiting, HRIS, and Learning & Development teams on key people initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of Human Resources Business Partner or related HR experience.
- Experience supporting both exempt and non-exempt employee populations in an multi-state / multi-site capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
- Experience supporting large field-based workforces.
- Experience helping organizations improve and standardize HR processes.
