Role: Payroll Manager
Location: Boulder, CO (In-office)
Pay Up To: $100K, depending on experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate payroll records and reconcile payroll reports for 500+ domestic and international employees
- Manage new hires, terminations and off-cycle payroll processing
- Manage employee benefit deductions, garnishments, and other payroll-related deductions
- Communicate directly with employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and reporting requirements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including payroll data reconciliations
- Assist with external audits related to payroll, providing documentation and explanations as necessary
- Ensure payroll records are accurate, complete, and accessible for audit purposes
- Maintain accurate and organized files and documentation for payroll processes
- Generate payroll reports for management and finance teams, including year-end reports, tax filings, and ad-hoc analyses as required
- Continuously review and enhance payroll processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining of payroll procedures
Requirements:
- 5+ years of management level Payroll experience
- 2+ years of ADP or UKG experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Accounting highly preferred
