Job Title: Payroll Tax Analyst
Location: Denver, CO
Pay Rate: Up to $38/hr dependent on applicable experience

Responsibilities:
- Handle all payroll tax filing and maintenance of laws for 30+ states
- Create payroll journal entries, reconcile payroll reports for month-end close
- Complete monthly reconciliations, special projects, and payroll processing as needed
- Liaise with third party processing company for timely and accurate filing, payment, and reconciliation of all federal, state, local and unemployment payroll taxes
- Provide support and training to Payroll team and employees on time-entry and payroll procedures
- Participate in special projects as assigned by Payroll Manager.
- Ensures compliance with Mandate for Fundamental Financial Controls and existing SOX matrixes
- Identify and recommend controls changes to the Payroll Manager. Participate in and support testing and all internal and external audit activities.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Payroll Accounting experience
- Exposure to Oracle and ADP highly preferred
