Role: Staff Accountant
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Pay: $30 / hour
Responsibilities:
- Review all invoices for proper documentation (purchase orders and delivery documents) and approval prior to input in Accounting System
- Review and process employee expense reports
- Generate check run batch, obtain signatures and mail/distribute checks
- Ensure timely vendor payments
- Manage monthly AP closing process, including AP accrual entry
- Reconcile vendor statements, identity and research discrepancies
- Prepare credit applications for new accounts
- Maintain A/P files by vendor
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in AP or general accounting
- Grant accounting experience
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- System: NetSuite
