Hours: M-F, 8AM - 5PM
Location: Katy, TX 77449 (100% Onsite)
A Day in the Life:
A Medical Customer Service Representative provides empathetic and efficient assistance to patients, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive experience with healthcare services. This person will also be translating for Spanish speaking patients.
- Working all inbound calls from patients with a variety of questions
- Scheduling any patients for their appointments
- Familiar with all insurance carriers, government and commercial
- Transferring any calls to a different department if necessary
- Ability to answer any patient questions and work within EMR system (ECW)
- Verifying all demographics for patients and accessing medical records if necessary
- Translating calls from English to Spanish and vice versa
Requirements:
- Comfortable and familiar with call center environment - 1 to 2 years of experience
- MUST be Bilingual in Spanish
- Strong customer service skills
