Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a mission-driven organization, to identify an HR Coordinator to join their team. This is a newly created role supporting a small HR department focused on delivering high-quality service, operational excellence, and a positive employee experience.


Job Description:

The HR Coordinator will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the HR team. This individual will play a key role in maintaining HR processes, assisting with recruiting and onboarding efforts, and supporting various HR initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a go-to resource for employee HR-related questions, ensuring timely and professional responses
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Process employee changes including hires, terminations, and status updates
  • Assist with coordinating HR projects and tracking progress against deadlines
  • Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, posting roles, and communicating with candidates
  • Prepare offer documentation and onboarding materials for new hires
  • Help facilitate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee transition
  • Provide support with benefits administration, including enrollments and employee inquiries
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate payroll-related updates
  • Maintain compliance with employment regulations and internal policies
  • Generate reports and assist with HR data tracking and audits
  • Coordinate logistics for employee engagement initiatives, trainings, and events


Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, administrative, or coordination roles
  • Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven environments preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, or similar systems)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Smartsheet) is a plus
  • Associate’s degree required
