Job Description

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting daily human resources operations, with a strong emphasis on compliance, employee support, and process coordination. This individual will partner closely with leadership and internal teams to ensure smooth HR workflows across the employee lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR functions, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including orientation and documentation processing
  • Initiate and monitor background screening processes for new hires
  • Serve as a primary resource for employee questions and assist with resolving workplace concerns
  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting coordination, including scheduling and candidate tracking
  • Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems and generate reports as needed
  • Support benefits administration, including assisting during open enrollment periods
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate employee data and timely processing
  • Organize and maintain HR documentation, files, and compliance-related records


Qualifications

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee relations, and HR processes
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP or Workday preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel reporting
  • Experience creating presentations (PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT is a plus

Soft Skills:

  • Professional, confident communicator with the ability to handle sensitive situations
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Ability to balance empathy with professionalism when addressing employee matters
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

Education:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
