Role: HR Generalist

Location: Washington, DC; In Office Work Schedule

Pay Rate: $28-33/Hour

 

Our client is in search of an HR Generalist to support a variety of HR functions within their organization. 


Job Responsibilities:

·      Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

·      Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations.

·      Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

·      Conducts new hire onboarding and offboarding.

·      Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.


Requirements:

·      Experience in – 3+ Years experience as an HR Generalist

o  Benefit management, Salary Analysis, Recruitment, Employee Relations

·      Proficient in – HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite

·      Soft Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, positive, high energy, collaborative

·      Education – Bachelor’s degree preferred
