Addison Group Los Angeles seeks a Senior Tax Associate to join a Culver City Entertainment and Real Estate Company.
Job Description- For this entertainment and real estate-oriented company, the Senior Tax Associate will prepare tax returns and tax provisions.
The hired Senior Tax Associate will report to the Tax Director.
Job Site Status (Remote/Hybrid/Onsite) - This role will have a hybrid status of three (3) days of office.

Salary/Benefits – Salary range is $75,000-$85,000/year. Our client supplements its base salary with a discretionary bonus.
SENIOR TAX ASSOCIATE DUTIES
Required
Tax Filing and Compliance
· Prepare all Federal and State income tax returns
· Prepare any tax filing extension requests Research all relevant tax issues that would impact on these various legal entities
· Handle all tax audit issues that might arise
· Handle all inventory, purchasing issues, production, sales, expenses, and liabilities
Tax Provisions
· Prepare papers for the quarterly and annual income tax provisions
· Support the tax planning process, including schedules and pro forma tax financial statements
· Analyze return-to-provision reconciliations
Miscellaneous
· Accept all other ad-hoc duties as needed
SENIOR TAX ASSOCIATE QUALIFICATIONS
Required
· Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an Accounting focus or equivalent level of work experience
· At least two (2) years of work experience as a tax professional in a corporate tax environment or at a public accounting firm
· Tax provisions experience (ASC 740 especially)
· Sales and use tax experience
· Real Estate Business Property Tax
Preferred
· CPA
· Corporate General Ledger (G/L) experience or Audit experience
· Consolidations experience
· International tax exposure
SENIOR TAX ASSOCIATE SKILLS
Required
Technical
· Expert-Level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, IF Formulas)
· Onesource/OTI
Interpersonal
· Strong analytical experience
· Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity
· Superior organizational skills
· Superior verbal and written communication skills
