Location: Albany, GA
Compensation: $18–$22/hour
Hours: M-F starting between 7:00 AM–8:00 AM (consistent schedule required)

Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Denials Coordinator. This role focuses on reviewing and preparing denied claims for further processing while collaborating with internal and remote teams. It’s a great opportunity for someone with healthcare revenue cycle experience who enjoys problem-solving and working in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience handling claim denials in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
- Background in insurance follow-up, billing, or explanation of benefits (EOB) review considered
- Clinical knowledge (such as EMT, Medical Assistant, or Paramedic experience) is a plus
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (experience with Meditech is helpful)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze medical documentation
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Review patient accounts and supporting documentation related to claim denials
- Organize and prepare denial cases for escalation or submission to a remote resolution team
- Investigate denials related to medical necessity, authorizations, and other payer requirements
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of records before submission
- Work closely with leadership and team members to resolve outstanding issues
- Maintain productivity while adhering to established workflows and schedules
