About Our Client:
Addison Group is working with one of our healthcare clients to identify a Revenue Cycle Supervisor to join their team. This organization is known for delivering high-quality patient care through a collaborative, forward-thinking environment that emphasizes continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Job Description: The Revenue Cycle Supervisor will oversee a small team while remaining actively involved in daily billing operations. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on revenue cycle work, ensuring claims are processed efficiently and issues are resolved thoroughly. The position interacts regularly with internal stakeholders, including providers and leadership, to support overall revenue cycle performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team responsible for medical billing and claims processing
- Maintain personal productivity by managing a daily workload of claims and accounts
- Review and submit claims, while addressing payer feedback and resolving denials
- Conduct detailed research and follow-up on denied or underpaid claims
- Ensure accounts are worked thoroughly to completion, minimizing repeat work
- Oversee daily billing volume and ensure compliance with payer guidelines
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows and resolve issues
- Support insurance and patient collections processes, with a primary focus on insurance
- Assist with payment posting and account reconciliation
- Identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- 2–3 years of full-cycle medical billing experience (specialty practice experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of coding practices, modifiers, and payer requirements
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with modern technology tools, including Apple products and Google Workspace
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work environment: Primarily onsite with potential for hybrid flexibility
