Bilingual HR Generalist
Contract to Hire
Location: North Austin
Pay: $32-38/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
100% Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to assess current and future staffing needs.
- Develop recruitment strategies, budgets, and materials to attract candidates for specific job roles.
- Manage temp agency recruitment efforts.
- Advertise job openings across various platforms and locations.
- Screen and refer candidates, maintaining communication throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct background checks, reference checks, and drug screenings.
- Cultivate a network to source qualified candidates.
- Represent the organization at events and fairs, coordinating participation and presentations.
- Administer benefits programs, including insurance, FMLA, and employee assistance.
- Maintain records and audit benefit plan participation and invoices.
- Communicate benefit packages to employees and lead the annual open enrollment process.
- Serve as a benefits subject matter expert and main point of contact for employee inquiries.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and legal/audit staff regarding benefits administration.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience handling HR functions including onboarding, recruitment, and benefits enrollment
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications
