Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator to support both talent acquisition and new hire onboarding efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing administrative coordination with candidate interaction. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires while also supporting sourcing and early-stage recruiting efforts.


Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding (approximately 60%):

  • Coordinate and execute onboarding processes for new hires from offer acceptance through start date
  • Facilitate weekly new hire orientation sessions onsite
  • Manage onboarding workflows within HR systems, ensuring timely and accurate completion of required documentation
  • Monitor background checks, fingerprinting, and pre-employment requirements
  • Communicate with new hires throughout the onboarding process via email and messaging platforms
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure a positive and organized first-day experience
  • Support ongoing improvements to onboarding programs and processes

Sourcing & Recruiting Support (approximately 40%):

  • Identify and source candidates using ATS platforms and external tools
  • Review incoming applications and screen candidates against job requirements
  • Conduct initial phone screens and provide qualified candidates to the recruiting team
  • Assist with job postings and job board management (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)

Process Improvement:

  • Help transition and streamline recruiting and onboarding workflows into an ATS
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and organization across processes


Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in onboarding, recruiting coordination, or HR support
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Greenhouse (or similar systems like LinkedIn/Indeed tools)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity or similar)
  • Experience with candidate communication tools or texting platforms is a plus
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
